Yuri Extracts Value

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

The hijack raised to 16,000 and Yuri Dzivielevski called on the button.

The hijack continued for 15,000 on a board of A28. Dzivielevski elected to see a turn.

The 4 fell and Dzivielevski was faced with another bet of 33,000, which he called.

The J was revealed on the river causing the hijack to slow down. Dzivielevski took the lead for 96,000 and his opponent went into the tank. After some time, they made the call and Dzivielevski tabled AJ for two pair. The hijack flashed the A in frustration as Dzivielevski claimed this pot.

No Bracelet for Bach

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
David Bach
David Bach

In the previous level, David Bach opened to 14,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Dinesh Alt in the big blind. He asked for an estimation of Bach's stack before he jammed all in, covering Bach by only a little bit.

Bach then thought it over for a bit but eventually put in the call.

David Bach: AQ
Dinesh Alt: AK

The flop brought some chop opportunities with 877, but the K turn sealed the fate of Bach. He bowed out just before the bubble and would not add a fourth bracelet to his resume in the summer of 2023.

Chio Takes One From the Big Blind

Livello 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player in early position raised to 12,000 and received a call only from Daniel Chio in the big blind to a flop of 9810.

Chio checked and the early position player continued with a bet of 15,000. Chio called to see the dealer put the 9 on the turn.

Both players checked through to see the A fall on the river and Chio decided to toss out a bet of 42,000.

The player in early position paused for a moment before he sent his cards into the muck to award the pot to Chio without showdown.

Zamani Rivers Trips

Livello 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 15,000 from the hijack and Calvin Anderson called from the button. The flop came down 486 and Zamani continued for another 15,000, which Anderson called.

"I wasn't expecting a fold", Zamani commented before the 10 turn went check-check. Zamani then also checked on the 8 river, but Anderson put out a bet of 20,000. Zamani snap called and Anderson could only show QJ for queen-high. Zamani showed Q8 for rivered trips and took down the pot.

"Okay, not doing that sh*t again," Anderson stated while both players laughed about the situation.

Malik Takes From Niu

Livello 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Akash Malik raised to 13,000 from early position preflop. The player in the small blind called, as did Lina Niu from the big blind.

All three players checked the Q610 flop and 2 turn.

The J arrived on the river, and action was checked to Niu. She put out 17,000, but Malik quickly raised to 47,000. The small blind folded, and Niu confirmed the bet she was facing. She spent about a minute before deciding to fold. Malik showed one card, the 4, as he took down the pot uncontested.
